| 1. Devotion to God | |
| We are children of a loving Heavenly Father. His every action towards us is born out of that love. Devotion to finding God, and His relationship and expectations towards us is the basic building block of life. | |
| 2. Devotion to family | |
| The primary element of humanity is the family. The success of the human community is born of the examples and values taught in the home. No other area of success is as important as success in the home. The destiny of mankind is born of the success, or failure, of the family. | |
| 3. Devotion to community | |
| Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. If applied to the whole human family the results would be earth shattering. Drug abuse, crime and war would disappear. The effect of this biblical law is the sum of the actions of each person who lives by it. Every person makes a difference. | |
| 4. Pursuit of truth | |
| Truth is freedom. When we refuse to honor truth we become slaves to ignorance and to lies. Overcoming ignorance allows us to build our lives on the solid foundation of truth. Only when we live by and tell the truth do we become truly in control of our destiny. | |
| 5. Agency & consequence | |
| God has irrevocably given us the right to choose what we will do with our lives. However each choice has a consequence. When we make a choice we also choose the consequence of that choice. There are no exceptions. Good happens when men make good choices. Evil happens when men make evil and selfish choices. | |
